Security Bifold Doors

In recent years the desire to let more light into properties has driven the demand for installation of bifolding doors, doors that can be folded open to provide wide expanses of opening for air and light. This allows the home and garden to become one, and is now a fundamental feature in any house, either traditional or modern.

There is a security compromise with these doors as they are traditionally made with aluminium or UPVC frames, toughened glass and traditional patio door locking systems. This construction offers virtually no level of security protection and can be compromised in literally seconds.

Fort North has designed and developed a unique system to remove this level of security compromise. Using steel frame profiles on special running systems, these heavy duty bifolding doors can be installed in any property to provide the light and additional space but with providing peace of mid that the doors are virtually impossible to compromise.

These doors can be equipped with bulletproof glass if required and have specially developed locking systems specifically for armoured high security bifolding doors.
