We were contacted by the owner of a remote property near Garstang Lancashire. The owner of the property was becoming increasingly concerned about security, due to a rise of incidents in the local area.
We visited the property and conducted a site survey. During the survey it was obvious that the ground floor cold be compromised in a number of different locations across the ground floor.
We recommended replacing a an extremely vulnerable french doorwith a steel frame fixed panel window and armoured glass, and also to secure the entry point from the conservatory into the main house.
We designed and built a replica French door and large armoured window. This solution provides the owner with an extremely high level of protection, whilst keeping in the character of the property an providing a welcome source of natural light in this old property.
Im addition to the above we designed and built an extremely small armoured door, @ 1.2m high, for the top of the fire escape at the side of the property.
The client felt so secure he asked us back to fit two additional doors to the property.
